Here is a quick breakdown of what you can expect based on your goals:
The Crash Course (2 Lessons): Ideal if your wedding is right around the corner! We’ll teach you a clean entrance and exit, a solid foundational step, and a simple dip so you feel natural and connected on the floor instead of doing the standard "sway."
The Foundations/Essentials Series (4-6 Lessons): Our most popular choices. We build customized choreography to your chosen song, tailored to your style, comfort level, and dress/tux constraints. Spacing these out over 6 to 8 weeks builds muscle memory so you can relax and truly enjoy the moment.
The Showcase (10+ Lessons): Perfect for couples who want dynamic choreography, complex lifts, or multiple song transitions to create a memorable, show-stopping performance.
Pro Tip for Busy Couples: You don't need hours of extra practice. Spending just 10 to 15 minutes, two or three times a week practicing in your living room makes a world of difference in feeling confident on the big day!

I recommend starting around 2-4 months before your wedding date, depending on your goals. This allows you to learn at a relaxed pace and ensures the muscle memory is locked in. However, if your wedding is just a few weeks away, don't panic—we can design a "crash course" to get you floor-ready quickly.
-
For First Few Lessons:
Comfort comes first! Wear flexible, breathable clothing you can move in easily (think casual wear or activewear).
For Footwear:
Wear shoes that stay securely on your feet and let you pivot comfortably—smooth-soled dress shoes, flats, leather loafers, or lightweight sneakers work great. Avoid heavy work boots, flip-flops, or overly chunky platform sneakers.
For the Final Lessons:
Bring your actual wedding shoes (or a pair with a similar heel height and fit) to your last 1 to 2 lessons so you get used to moving in them. We also encourage wearing a long skirt, suit jacket, or jacket-style layer to simulate your wedding day attire—no surprises on the big day!
-
Not at all. If you’re stuck, we can listen to a few options and help you determine which ones are easiest to dance to or best match your "vibe." If you already have "your song," bring it along and we’ll get to work!
-
This depends on your goals. A simple, polished "survival" dance can often be learned in 4 to 6 sessions, while a fully choreographed, custom routine usually takes 8 to 10 sessions. During your first consultation, we’ll help you choose a package that fits your vision and timeline.

Absolutely! We love working on Father-Daughter and Mother-Son dances, or even creating a surprise group routine for the entire wedding party. Just let us know who you'd like to bring along and we can tailor the packages to fit your goals.
